Matcha Bowl - dark clay

Louise is the artist and creator of these beautiful matcha bowls. Together with her partner they opened the stylish and delicious cafe in Bayonne Deux Lunes. The moment I stepped into the cafe the first time I felt her creative energy and I am very grateful to work with her on these beautiful dark clay matcha bowls. They are sitting heavy in your hands while still feeling delicate in it's shape and form. The outside is mat and the inside a shiny brown tone.
 
Louise's style described in her own words:
 
Combining my passions for waves and clay is a dream that I realize every day and share with joy. The earth element through the sign of Taurus, which defines me under the sun, often asks me to return to my source, mother earth. It's mother earth that soothes and transports me. It's an essential balance in my life.
Although the Water element dominates, my overflowing sensitivity is sometimes difficult to channel and is compensated by contact with the Earth. I like to immerse myself in my imagination. Creating is a way for me to express myself, my emotions and my taste for aesthetics.
